Happy 1st Birthday to Makerere West Youth F.C. (10 March, 2012)
Giving Hope Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Uganda NGO Board (Registration Number S.5914/9068) that is dedicated to working with disadvantaged children and communities to improve standards of living; we target vulnerable children, unemployed youths and poorer families in communities that have been affected by poverty, abuse, violence, disease and other natural calamities.
At Giving Hope Foundation, we strive to reduce poverty and its effects among disadvantaged children and communities in Uganda. We understand that it is impossible to change the entire world, but we are able make a significant impact with smaller groups. So we focus on smaller groups of children, youths and women as our change agents. By improving lives of disadvantaged children, youths and women, communities are improved in the process. We strive to empower such smaller groups by offering training in life-skills, exposing them to simple sustained technologies that are cultural-appropriate and exposing them to opportunities that can enhance their survival and wellbeing.
Giving Hope Foundation currently implements projects in Kabarole, Kampala, Kitgum, and Wakiso Districts of Uganda.
